Your recovery key is an added security feature that allows you to recover your account.

It is a backup file you can download and save to your cloud folder, in case you lose access to your passkey.

If you lose your passkey, you may lose access to your account and funds. That's why it's extremely important that you set up multiple passkeys, and/or back up your passkey.

To back up your passkey, head to [Settings] → [Credentials] or [Security] → [Add new] under [Recovery keys].
